Sénégal on Belgian time!
Doylu tars on the nostalgic fantasies of the Senegalese singer-songwriter and notorious citizen of the world Pathé Thiam and subtle melancholy of multi-instrumentalist Koen De Gendt. You do not have to understand Wolof to capture this powerful music. Pathé Thiam brings his great stories with an impressive voice. Fortunately the delicate chants of sirens Kimberly Dhondt and Inneke Van De Velde's soften the music and the rhythmic percussion (Mathias Van Gasse and Steven Meuleman) go against dullness.
Going down with Doylu ... Delicious!
